I've been concentrating on the carnival piece to hopefully get it done within the next month. I think it's possible. I'm almost done the ferris wheel, just need to do a little more filling in of background before I can fill in the backstitch. 

So there's still a ton to do on the right side, but just getting all the blending thread and backstitch done on the ferris wheel will be a huge job. That might be halfway really. There's a lot of backstitch for the roller coaster too, but not as much as there is on this ferris wheel. :) And the backstitch hasn't been a pain. I really like how it's looking, so that definitely helps. It's always frustrating to do a lot of work and then be unhappy with the result. 

And here's a close-up. The Rainbow Gallery blending thread sparkles really nicely and it's pretty easy to work with as far as metallics go. I just have to watch the ends don't get caught up in the cross-stitches for the cars. That gets annoying.  I'm a little farther than this now, all the blending thread is done for the ferris wheel and the backstitch stretches to almost half. There's a lot of background to fill in before I can do the rest of the backstitch though.
